Mauve have been working with British Athletics for a number of years producing various print productions from event marketing to stadium branding. Late in 2016 we were approached to assist with a rebrand. This involved a name change for the Anti-Doping department to Clean Athletics. We were tasked to create a logo that would sit well next to both the British Athletics and UKA brands. Clean Athletics should demonstrate that the primary role is to focus on and support Clean Athletes and it will represent the aspiration for a clean sport of athletics.
After various meetings and conversations with all the key stakeholders the Mauve team digested the brief and created a wide selection of ideas, options and directions for the department to consider. Here is the winner.
The new Clean Athletics brand was launched early January 2017
and has been well received by the sport and associated media.
